Super El Niño Alert
Super El Niño summer forecast: prolonged 100°+ heat waves headed for SoCal — tune up before your AC fails. Forecasters warn of a 55% spike in AC breakdowns this summer — book preventative service before the wait list grows. Last summer’s heat wave left thousands of SoCal homes without AC for 5+ days — don’t be next. Schedule now. Avoid a $3,000 emergency replacement — an $89 tune-up catches the failures heat waves expose. Grid stress + 95°+ days = capacitors and motors fail first. Get ahead of it — book your inspection today.

Priority

response for commercial service clients — and design-build experience for everything new on the boards

Two sides of commercial HVAC. We do both well.

On the service side: office hot, restaurant cooler than the walk-in, tenants complaining about uneven heat? Priority response, written service reports for every visit, and maintenance contracts designed around your operating hours — for offices, restaurants, retail, medical, warehouses, schools, gyms, and multi-family.

On the construction side: new buildings, tenant improvements, and major retrofits with Manual J/D/S load calcs, full duct design, Title 24 compliance, and GC-friendly scheduling. See the new construction page → for the full design-build story.

Why choose Canyon

What you actually get when you call us.

Priority service response.

Existing-system clients get priority dispatch with a written service report for every visit. Maintenance contract holders go to the front of the line for emergency calls.

Design-build for new construction.

Manual J load calcs, duct design, Title 24 compliance, and rough-in / set / trim sequencing built around your GC's schedule. New buildings, TIs, and full-gut renovations.

Documented & contract-ready.

Written service reports, custom maintenance contracts for portfolios, and full CF-2R/CF-3R packets for new construction closeouts. The paper trail your facility manager and your inspector both want.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

Site or plans review

We walk an existing property OR review architectural drawings for new construction. Inventory equipment, identify risks, scope the work. No charge for the initial review.

Plan & quote

Service contract with response-time guarantees, OR design-build proposal with Manual J load calcs, equipment spec, and Title 24 strategy. Fixed pricing up front.

Execute

Scheduled inspections and emergency response for existing systems. Rough-in, set, and trim — sequenced with the GC's schedule — for new construction. Real technicians, no subcontractors.

Document & report

Quarterly equipment status reports for service contracts; CF-2R/CF-3R packet, HERS verification, and commissioning documentation for new construction closeouts.

FAQ

Commercial HVAC — Service, Repair & New Construction: questions homeowners ask us most.

The honest, in-plain-English answers we’d give a neighbor calling on the phone.

What types of commercial HVAC do you service?

Light-commercial rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, VRF, ductless multi-zone, and packaged systems for offices, retail, restaurants, medical practices, gyms, and multi-tenant buildings across the SGV. For service contracts, contract clients get priority response on contracted equipment.

Do you offer commercial maintenance contracts?

Yes — quarterly or semi-annual visits, written inspection reports, priority dispatch, and member pricing on parts. Contracts are the best way to lock in priority response in peak season, which matters a lot when a rooftop fails on a 105°F Tuesday.

Can you handle an urgent commercial breakdown?

If you’re on a maintenance contract with us, yes — guaranteed. For walk-in commercial emergencies we do our best, but in mid-summer the queue may be 1–3 days. That’s why we strongly encourage businesses to get on a contract before June.
